Benefits include room upgrades, F&B credit, welcome amenities, early check-in/late check-out, etc. Get your status match here (code AIRCANIPT should be automatically applied).

🧠 CREDIT CARD STRATS/HACKS/TRICKS
Chase Has SUB Pop-Ups Now

In AMEX fashion, Chase has implemented SUB pop-ups which tell you in advance whether you’re eligible for the welcome offer.

So far, it sounds like it’s only implemented on Sapphires and Freedom Unlimited. If you reject and don’t submit your application upon getting a pop-up, there’s no hard pull on your credit.

The major difference is if you want the card regardless of the SUB, you can now apply for it. In the past, you had to PC (which honestly wasn’t that difficult).

It’s yet to be seen if BBT works like it does for AMEX. Given how strict Chase has been with enforcing their rules, it’s probably unlikely.

Ultimately, this is just UI/UX change, neither good nor bad.

⏳️ FINAL BOARDING CALL - TIME-SENSITIVE
Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Mastercard 70k SUB With One Purchase

One of the easiest offers for AA miles is back:

  • 70k AA miles after making 1 purchase and paying annual fee in full, both in first 90 days

  • Annual fee: $99

  • 0% intro APR for first 15 billing cycles, then variable APR

If you have 5/24 slots to spare, this card is an easy “yes”. As mentioned in previous emails, AA’s program has significantly increased in value simply because all other Frequent Flyer programs have devalued recently (some rather significantly).

Barclays also combines same-day hard pulls. If you’re considering applying, explore their other card products to see if you want more than one.

Chase 20% Transfer Bonus to Aeroplan (Huge for PYB)

Until 07/31, Chase has a 20% transfer bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan.

For those unaware, Chase’s Aeroplan credit card also gives a 10% transfer bonus up to 25k bonus miles per calendar year. This means transferring 250k Chase points to Aeroplan will get you 325k points.

Furthermore, the Aeroplan credit card has a Pay Yourself Back feature on flights at a value of 1.25 cpp. Those 325k Aeroplan points are the equivalent of $4,062.50.

The initial 250k Chase points now have a value of 1.625 cpp. Not too shabby for a pseudo-cash out.

Now if you want to get flights instead, there are plenty of amazing options considering the massive list of partner airlines that Air Canada boasts.

Prince of Travel recently reported that you can book Oman Air with Air France KLM Flying Blue miles. This is great news as Flying Blue can be transferred from nearly every single credit card program. Their miles are among the easiest to accumulate.

Pricing is route-based, priced by segment, and may include $300-400 of surcharges and fees.

While I’ve yet to find any first-class availability (it’s possible you can’t), there’s plenty of availability for business-class flights between Europe and Muscat (Oman Air hub).

Prices range between 31.5k to 55.5k and include destinations such as London, Frankfurt, Munich, Delhi, Bangkok, Egypt, Paris, Tanzania, and more.
