📣 WHAT EVERYONE’S TALKING ABOUT

• Southwest can now be booked on Chase Travel Portal, but do the math. There may not be consistent value until SW points are devalued Jan 1

• Chase - 25% transfer bonus to JetBlue. JetBlue points are tied to cash rates so no sweet spots. You could get maybe 1.7 cents per point.

• Marriott Bonvoy Cyber Week Sale - Book by 11/28 and get 20% off

• CLEAR is giving $75 Uber vouchers to “new” accounts (only requires a new email). If you have unused CLEAR credits from multiple AMEX Plat/Biz Plat, this is a backdoor semi-cash-out. Promo code: WBTGUBER23

Capital One Shopping - Install the extension, spend $10, get $75. My link is $50 so not going to share it, but you can google $75 easily enough. Make sure the referrer hasn’t maxed out their earnings or you won’t get your bonus.

• Seats.aero is giving 30% off your first month/year. They’re also running a FREE giveaway for a $1,650 RIMOWA, $250 airline gift cards, and 1-year seats.aero Pro subscriptions. Just enter your email.

Always Always Always Use Shopping Portals For Online Shopping

Example of Macy’s cash-back rates from various portals

For those who don’t know, shopping portals give flat discounts on online purchases via cash or miles back. It’s free money.

There are a lot of shopping portals that cover tens of thousands of brands. Add cashbackmonitor to your online shopping process which tracks cash-back rates for brands across most shopping portals.

HACK: Add the below script to your bookmark bar. This creates a clickable button that automatically searches CBM for the site you’re on.

javascript:void(window.open('https://www.cashbackmonitor.com/check-rewards/'+document.domain))

My favorite two portals are Rakuten and TopCashBack (referral links).

Why Rakuten?

Rakuten partnered with AMEX to let you earn AMEX MR points 🤯.

Whatever cash-back rate you purchase at, depending on your AMEX redemption, you can 10-20x that value. Here’s an achievable scenario:

• Rakuten gives 10% back on e.g. Dell $1,000 laptop
• You earn $100, or 10,000 AMEX MR points
• Pool your points to AMEX and redeem a first-class flight at 10 cents/point
• Your 10k AMEX points gave you $1,000 in value - your Dell laptop was free

Having the option to earn AMEX points is massive and a no-brainer. Unless another portal has significantly higher cash-back rates, I almost always use Rakuten.

Through 11/30, Rakuten is offering an all-time high $40 sign-up bonus after you spend $40. If you have a purchase in mind, check the “3x cash back” section to see increased promotional rates:

If you have nothing to buy, search Rakuten for “giftcards.com” and find a brand you’ll use. It’s $40 or 4,000 AMEX MR points for free.

TopCashback seems to frequently track gift card purchases even though cash-back rates usually exclude gift cards. This is very valuable for those in gift card buying groups, a nice cherry on top.

It also consistently has higher rates, a cleaner UI, and reliable payouts.

⏳️ FINAL BOARDING CALL - TIME-SENSITIVE
AMEX Business Platinum 190k Offer

People are talking about a new targeted link offering 190k AMEX MR points but many are struggling to pull it. I’ve got 2 methods for you:

Worked for me:
• NordVPN, city of Buffalo, Safari incognito
• Google “amex business platinum”, clicked the 1st sponsored link
• Repeat with new incognito windows until it appears (I got it on first try)

Trending reliable method:
• Use VPN set to Dallas, TX
• Open this link with various browsers and incognito
• If it doesn’t work, use Dallas with above method (just tried and it worked)

If you don’t get a pop-up, you’ll get the bonus if you’re approved.

The AMEX Business Platinum has a hefty $695 fee but there are many ways to offset this and you can easily come out ahead. Here’s an infographic (ctrl+f “amex business platinum”) with the various perks to easily determine if you can work the annual fee.

☁️ ON POINTS
Massive Qatar (some QSuites) Availability Through Next Year

QSuites are arguably one of the best business-class products in the world. If you have plans to go to any of the below destinations, you’ll want to snatch up these flights quickly.

Qatar, Doha (DOH) from BOS, IAD, JFK, YUL, ATL, DFW, IAH, LAX, MIA, ORD, SEA, SFO

• AA - starts at 70k points
• Alaska - starts at 85k points
• Avios - starts at 70k points (transfers from AMEX, Chase, C1, Citi. You can link British Airways to Qatar)
• JetBlue - starts at 70k miles (seems like Qatar removed JetBlue ability to see QSuites)

You can find availability on American Airlines, Qatar, or seats.aero Qsuites finder (you already know what my recommendation is).
